Just had to play...

I cannot even tell you the last time I just played...

Then...

I received the BEST package from Authentique Paper this week...

Compliments of Samantha... I have to say, I just {heart} her!

So...what's a girl to do?

Well, this girl played along with the current challenge over at the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog:)

The challenge this week is to use office supplies in your challenge entry.

And guess who just organized and found some office supplies?

Me, me!!!

First I'll show you my finished project.

It's never to early to start on Christmas cards, right?

So, head on over to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog and play along, o.k.?

NOW...let me show you all of the goodness I received from Sam:
We've got "Believe"
"Bundle"

"Grateful"

"Faith"

I just love them all!  Now to finish placing orders for my embellishments so I can do these paper lines some justice:)

About Scrapping with a Twist...how it all began:)

Once upon a time, there was a girl with a dream...

I have been creating mixed media projects since way back when...like 45 years ago, when

I received my first "spin art" kit as a young girl.

Then came my Spirograph, hook rugs, macrome, and even crocheting.

Before I knew it,

I was teaching everyone I knew how to make AWESOME art pieces.

I then needed a place to display all of the "samples" of my word, so

I received my first "scrapbook"...when I was 12 or so...

Although it was more like a portfolio of my work...

What I wouldn't give to have that scrapbook now.

But alas, too many moves and too much downsizing caused my beloved scrapbook to be lost along the way...

After teaching Frugal Scrapping for about 15 years, I went on to teaching Mixed Media classes.

I am now the very proud co-owner of Picture This Boutique & Retreats.

Moving ahead into 2015.

I look forward to serving my local community with:
  • A place to meet and CREATE with friends
  • A place to meet new friends that have interest in crafting
  • A place to learn new techniques
  • A place to try new products
  • A place to shop for papercrafting products
And that is how Scrapping with a Twist...beyond the basics was born.

In 2015, I will be scheduling:
  • Day Crops
  • Workshops
  • Classes
There will also be a mobile boutique where you can purchase your crafting staples as well as some unique embellishments for your crafting projects.  My oh so popular kits will also be available in my boutique.

I look forward to seeing you!

Creatively yours,
Lori McCausland, Owner
